Enjoy free admission to museums and local attractions!
The following museum passes are available to adult Town of Bedford library cardholders in good standing. (The Town of Bedford includes Katonah Village Library, Bedford Free Library, and Bedford Hills Free Library). Please note that many museums in the New York Metropolitan area offer “pay what you wish” admission or free/reduced entry on specific days/times during the week. Please check out individual museum websites for more information. Only one pass per household may be borrowed at any given time.
How to Borrow a Museum Pass
- Museum passes are available on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis. The Library will hold a pass for one hour if it is available and requested over the phone (no phone messages or emails, please). Please call the Circulation Desk at (914) 232-3508 to inquire about the availability of a particular pass.
- To pick up a pass, patrons must be 18 years and older (proof required) and have a Katonah Village, Bedford, or Bedford Hills library card in good standing.
- The loan period for passes is three days from the date it is checked out, e.g. a pass checked out on a Tuesday is due back on Friday. Only one pass per household may be borrowed at any given time.
- Passes must be returned in person to the circulation desk during Library hours. They may not be returned in the book drop.
- Lost Pass: Individual pass subject to replacement cost.
- When planning a visit, please call the museum beforehand to check hours, museum descriptions, and restrictions or to check on closures. This is not Katonah Village Library’s responsibility.
