Westchester Library System subscribes to several online services which provide downloadable eBooks, e-Audiobooks and music. Those services identified by an * are accessible with a Katonah Village Library card or a library card from any public library located in Westchester County.
IndieFlix * – This streaming movie service provides unlimited access to award-winning shorts, feature films, and documentaries. With thousands of films to choose from across more than 50 countries, IndieFlix offers a viewing experience you can’t get anywhere else.
OverDrive * – Get the most recent eBooks which can be downloaded to a Kindle, Nook, i-Phone, i-Pad and innumerable other mobile devices.

Freading * – Get new, fairly new and older eBooks downloaded to your device.
Freegal * – Get all the downloadable music that SONY Entertainment can offer. You do not need any special software to use the service and all songs are in MP3 format with no Digital Rights Management (DRM).
OneClickDigital * – A collection of approximately 4,000 audiobooks for unlimited and instant download to your MP3 player or iPod.
Total Boox* – Total BooX lets WLS patrons read, share and discover books with no restrictions, no waiting lists and no tokens. *Please note that Total Boox is currently in beta*
Comics Plus: Library Edition* – the new digital revolution bringing thousands of digital graphic novels and comics are only a click away!
TumbleBooks – An online collection of animated, talking picture books, reading comprehension quizzes, educational games and teacher resources for libraries. A great resource for young children.
NoveList *– Reader-focused features such as reading recommendations, series information, book reviews, book jackets, and more.

Google Books – Search and preview millions of books from libraries and publishers worldwide using Google Book Search. Discover a new favorite or unearth an old classic.
Free Music Archive – The Free Music Archive provides free, high-quality, music in a wide range of genres. The content on Free Music Archive is used under various creative commons licenses. The New York State Music Fund provided initial funding for FMA. FMA seeks to maintain a high-quality resource through the use of selected curators who approve or deny all submissions to the collection.
Open Culture – Free cultural and educational media on the web.
Project Gutenberg – Project Gutenberg is the first and largest single collection of free e-books. Most of the over 38,000 titles in the collection are full-text of public domain books. There is also an audiobook collection.
Directory of Open Access Journals – A service that covers free, full-text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals.
Internet Archive – This archive offers researchers, historians, scholars, people with disabilities, and the general public permanent access to historical collections that exist in digital format. Includes texts, audio, moving images, and software as well as archived web pages in their collections.
HaithaTrust Digital Library – HathiTrust Digital Library is a digital preservation repository and highly functional access platform. It provides long-term preservation and access services for public domain and in copyright content from a variety of sources, including Google, the Internet Archive, Microsoft, and in-house partner institution initiatives.
